Progessing Well
A spokesman for the Highways Agency said: “Overall the works are progressing well despite encountering some delays due to extra gas and electric mains work. At present we are on target to complete by the end of August.
“Traffic delays through the works are generally no worse than before the scheme started. This is largely due to drivers using alternative routes such as the A453 and A610, or finding other routes.
“Can I remind you to please use both lanes approaching the cones taper of the traffic management. Using both these lanes will mean that the total queue lengths will be reduced and will prevent Bramcote Island from being affected.
