Joanne Limburg: 'A breath of new air'
Joanne studied for a Diploma in Careers Guidance at Nottingham Trent University in the late 1990s, a breakthrough year in which she wrote her first collection, Femenismo, shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection.
She has just published her second collection, Paraphernalia - a book about clutter - physical, mental and cultural.
Her poetry is witty and sharp, described by Dannie Abse as coming from ‘a humorous diamond of a mind’.
Bloodaxe Books is Britain's premiere poetry publisher, and has teamed up with Nottingham City Literature Development to bring four top contemporary poets to Lakeside.
