Update on roadworks for the M1 widening scheme

Amended information for the roadworks on the M1 Widening scheme Junction 25 to 28.Narrow lanes between Junction 26 and Junction 27 with no hard shoulder and a 24-hour 50mph speed limit for the safety of drivers and roadworkers.
Junction 25 to Junction 26
• Between 9pm and 5am on Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 4, the northbound carriageway will be reduced to one lane.
• The southbound hard shoulder will be coned off throughout the week but will be available for emergency breakdown.
Junction 26 to Junction 27
• Between 9pm and 5am from Monday, June 2, until Friday, June 6, the northbound carriageway will be reduced to two lanes.
• Between 9pm and 5am on Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 4, the southbound carriageway will be reduced to one lane.
Junction 27 - Junction 28
• Between 9pm and 5am on Wednesday, June 4, and Thursday, June 5, the northbound and southbound carriageway will be reduced to two lanes.
• The northbound hard shoulder will be coned off throughout the week but will be available for emergency breakdown.
