Beeston student meets the Prime Minister

A Beeston student had an audience with the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown last week.Ed Jacobs joined Broxtowe MP Nick Palmer at a Downing Street reception attended by young people from across the country.
Ed, an MA student, is also a member of Broxtowe Youth Council and active in politics and hopes to stand as a Labour candidate in Toton and Chilwell Meadows Ward.
The pair were also joined by Tasmin Roscoe who has recently returned from a two month period working with orphans of Aids victims in Kenya in an area without electricity or running water.
