Blaze at Dunkirk Waste Oil Company

Around 30 fire-fighters attended a blaze at a waste oil company in Dunkirk today, Wednesday, April 23.Crews were called Hall and Campey Waste Oil, Cavendish Street just after 1am this morning.
Although one building was severely damaged, the fire was prevented from spreading to three large oil tanks nearby.
Crews from Dunkirk, Beeston, Central and West Bridgford attended the incident, which lasted for around four hours.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
Hall and Campey provide waste package for businesses, which include waste oil collections, used oil filters, waste antifreeze, oily rags, soak-up granules, used batteries, mixed fuels and other waste streams such as bumpers, windscreens and flo-tubes.
