Cannabis Plants seized in Bramcote

Nottinghamshire Police has seized around 200 cannabis plants following the search of a house.Officers discovered the substantial cannabis grow after entering a house in Latimer Drive, Bramcote, at around 7.20pm, Monday March 10, 2008.
During the search police found the cannabis plants, along with growing equipment and a thermal insulating system.
Nobody was in the rented property at the time of the search and officers are now investigating to discover who is behind the cannabis grow.
House to house enquiries
Officers are currently carrying out house-to-house enquiries and appealing to anyone with information.
The search was carried out after Nottinghamshire Police received information about suspicious activity in the area.
Sgt Simon Hodges said: “This discovery shows how useful information received from the public is in fighting drugs crime.
"Largely unoccupied"
“Cannabis grows like this are often found in premises, which are largely unoccupied and visited by people infrequently.
“I ask anyone who spots any suspicious people or activity to call Nottinghamshire Police so we can deal with it.”
