The sell out Ball this year was in aid of the Mayor of the Borough, Councillor Brian Wombwell’s chosen charity which is the NSPCC.
Once again the event was held at the prestigious East Midland Conference Centre and as well as a fabulous dinner, guests danced the night away to the fantastic 'Impulse' , the UK's No 1 function band.
The Charity Ball also played hosted to delegations from Poland and Germany both of whom have enjoyed previous Charity Balls. The visits are even more special this year as the Borough is celebrating 30 years of twinning with Gütersloh.
