Fire-fighters in annual charity car wash event

Cars in Beeston will get a good hosing down this weekend at a charity car wash.Fire-fighters from the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service will join thousands of others from all over the country in the annual Fire Services National Benevolent Fund (FSNBF) car wash on Saturday, March 8.
Scrub Up
And drivers will also be able to scrub up on their safety knowledge. Fire crews will take the opportunity to talk to them about how they can keep themselves and their families safe from fire, and accidents on the road and in the home.
This year, all fire stations in Nottinghamshire, with the exception of Southwell and Bingham, are taking part in the car wash between 10am and 4pm.
All donations received will go to the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, which supports injured fire-fighters and their families.
