Chilwell residents invited to meeting

Police are inviting residents of Chilwell West to their Safer Neighbourhood Team’s next beat surgery where they can meet officers and have an input into policing their area.The team will be at the Inham Nook Community Centre between 10am-12noon on Saturday, January 24. It is an opportunity for people to discuss any problems or issues they are having with their local Policing Team.
PCSO David Wardle said: “This is an ideal opportunity for the community to meet their local Safer Neighbourhood Team and find out what they’re doing in their area.
”Vitally important to understand” “It also gives us the chance to speak to local residents and establish what issues are impacting on them. It is vitally important for us to understand what’s going on in the area, and the only way we can do that is by speaking to the people who live there.
“With the help of the local community, we can ensure that we are focusing our efforts on tackling the problems that matter most to them.”
