Care Centre raises money for Children in Need

A total of £760 was realised at a fund-raising event held at Stapleford Care Centre on Friday, November 16, as part of the BBC Children in Need Appeal.

Stalls included 'guess the size of the gingerbread man', cake stall, soft toys, tombola and refreshments.

A 'Keep Fit' show was also held by a local fitness centre.

A spokesman for the event, told NG9: "It was very well attended and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

"Thank you to everyone who supported it."
