18 groups and organisations provided activities and taster sessions including Chilwell Eat Well, Inham Park Preschool Playgroup, Chilwell Community Association, Walk and Talk, Pathway Church, Inham Short Mat Bowls Club, Bramcote Conservation Society, Bramcote Leisure Centre and Notts Fire and Rescue Service.
Plenty to do
There was plenty for children to do, including an Easter Egg Hunt and a face painter. There was a chance for residents to find out what is happening in their area and people took the opportunity to network, make contacts and advertise future activities.
The aim of the event, which was organised by Broxtowe Borough Council and Nottinghamshire County Council, is to promote local groups and services to residents in the Chilwell area.
