Beeston Square is hosting another popular Continental Market from Thursday, March 6, to Saturday, March 8.

Hundreds of people visited the town centre in November last year to sample freshly baked French bread, Spanish paella and delicious nuts and olives. The market offers an amazing choice of European food products and crafts.

Three Days

The three-day market will begin at 10am and will run until 5pm daily offering fresh food, jewellery and gifts to its visitors. Beeston’s traditional market will continue to run as normal on Friday and Saturday at its usual location on Willoughby Street.

The market is part of a calendar of events, put together by the Beeston Business Forum and Broxtowe Borough Council.

Proposed Events

Proposed events for the rest of the year include two more Continental markets, one in July, and one in November, a series of arts and crafts fairs in the Square and an Easter eggstravaganza and the return of Spooky Saturday on Broadgate Park.

For more information about any of the proposed events or to find out more about the Beeston Business Forum, please contact the Economic Development team on 0115 917 7777.
