It is believed that the male stole the victim's purse from her handbag which was on the rear seat of the car.
• Theft from vehicle Sainsbury, Stoney Street, Beeston 11:30 - 11:40 Fri 24/8 Victim left purse in her bag on the back seat - she was approached by a couple - the female asked for directions while the male stole the purse. The couple are described as of dark asian appearance, aged mid 20s with dark hair - the female was about 5'3" and the male between 5'6" - 5'8"
