It is a time for giving at Ferrers Gallery at Staunton Harold near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
As part of their Christmas exhibition ‘Jingle All The Way’ which opens on Friday, November 9, the gallery is launching it’s first ever Craftsmas Charitree event.
Adorning the annual Christmas tree will be original hand made decorations made and donated by selected British artists and makers.
Silent Auction
These decorations will be part of a silent auction where visitors can bid for each item, with all proceeds going to the Great Ormond Street charity. Ferrers Gallery hopes to raise over £500 for the cause.
Decorations will be available to view on the gallery website from Friday, November 9. Highest bidders for each decoration will be announced on Sunday, December 9, at 4pm.
Late Night Shopping Event
For one night only a late night shopping spectacular on Friday, November 9, will begin the festivities, with a 10% discount offered on all purchases over £30 between 4pm and 7pm.
Ferrers Gallery will be open seven days a week in December - Sunday and Monday 11am – 5pm, Tuesday to Saturdays 11am – 6:30pm.
