Future of Sunday Evening Services under review
02 April, 2008
The future of Sunday evening services at Stapleford Methodist Church is under review after long-standing concern about falling attendance numbers.A decision will be taken whether to discontinue the pattern of weekly Sunday evening services or hold one regular evening service per month together with additional ‘specials’ such as the annual Carol Service in December.
However, other options put forward will also be considered.
The issue will be discussed at the Annual Church Meeting (ACM) on Tuesday, April 22, but a final decision will be made by the Church Council at a meeting on May 12.
