Gold Award for Nature Centre

The centre received the Gold Award for Sustainable Tourism at this year’s East Midlands Enjoy England Excellence Awards, funded by East Midlands Development Agency (emda) held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.
GMTV presenter Andrew Castle presented Gold Awards to a total of 16 businesses from across the region at a ceremony on Wednesday, October 10.
”The best the region has to offer”
Richard Dickinson, Chief Executive of awards organiser, East Midlands Tourism said: “These awards highlight the very best the region has to offer and the winners have been selected because they have demonstrated they excel in their efforts to ensure visitors have a truly memorable experience in the region.”
Following success at a regional level, many of the winners will now have the opportunity to go forward to the national final of the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2007-08 held next spring.
