Grants available for community and voluntary groups

The Action Fund provides funding to a diverse range of non-profit making organisations for projects that promote and benefit the well being of Broxtowe Borough – socially, economically and environmentally.
Member Partners
Member partners from the Broxtowe Partnership contribute to the fund including Broxtowe Borough Council, Nottinghamshire County teaching Primary Care Trust, The Boots Company, The Co-operative Group, and Nottinghamshire County Council.
Projects can range from environmental works to youth activities, provision of equipment for community groups to supporting voluntary activities.
Local Projects
The Action Fund has provided over £150,000 worth of grants since its launch in 2000 and has supported lots of local projects including grants for organisations such as Hickings Lane Skateboard Group, Trowell WI, Broxtowe Play Forum, Headstart Self Help Group and Broxtowe Community Celebration Group.
The closing date for this round of applications is February 29, 2008.
