The Lace Market Gallery, New College Nottingham, 25 Stoney Street, is host to a new exhibition, ‘Inspiration ' by the Nottingham based sports photographer, Mark Epton, between Monday, April 28 and Friday, May 2.
Mark, says: “We have at one time or another been captivated by a sports image that sums up the excitement of the event.
”Lifetime’s Ambition
“The image may depict the sheer human effort that the sports person has given or the pain threshold that they have gone through to achieve what may well be their lifetime's ambition.”
‘Inspiration' will feature photography from The Tour of Britain cycle race, stages of The Tour de France and the East Midlands based Pacesetter triathlon series.
The exhibition is free to view Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.
