Legal stalwart dies

Hilary Chapman was a partner in SJB Thomas and Co Solicitors between 1959 - 1997 and opened and established the company’s Stapleford office.
He was active in the Nottinghamshire Law Society for many years, becoming president in 1984/85.
Mr Chapman was a member of Chilwell Road Methodist Church, Beeston, where he had served as a church steward and a circuit steward.
