Cadets take the long way up

EIGHT members of the 1360 Stapleford and Sandiacre Squadron Air Cadets were among 30 from the South and East Midlands Wing to have successfully completed the Expedition stage of their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.Using the National Air Cadets Adventure Training Centre at Windermere as their base, five teams walked and camped for four days in the arduous Lake District terrain.
The Gold Award for all those taking part will be presented at St James’s Palace on successful completion of all the elements required.
