M1 Roadworks Update

The layout of the M1 Motorway northbound and southbound carriageway has been changed between Junction 27 and Junction 26 with the introduction of narrow lanes, no hard shoulder and a 24-hour 50mph speed limit for the safety of drivers and roadworkers. The northbound and southbound carriageways between Junction 26 and 27 will be reduced to one lane overnight between 9pm to 5am , on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25.
