New Mayor Installed

Councillor Sue Wildey was installed as the 32nd Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe on Wednesday, May 14, and has chosen to support When You Wish Upon a Star and DARE (UK) as her nominated charities during her year in office. Sue Wildey is the Independent Councillor for Nuthall East and Strelley and was a founder member and secretary of the Nuthall Residents Association in 2001.
She was elected onto the Nuthall Parish Council in 2002 and went on to win a seat on Broxtowe Borough Council in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007.

Sue is a member of the General Purposes and Audit Committee and the Community Safety Forum. She has previously been a member of the Planning and Community Development Select Committee, Licensing and Appeals Committee and Alcohol and Entertainment Committee.
