The Broxtowe Partnership celebrated another year of achievement at its annual event which had ‘Climate Change’ as its theme.

The event took place at Strelley Hall and included workshops, interactive sessions and an interesting range of speakers as well as the showing of the film ‘An Inconvenient Truth’.

To highlight the potential carbon cost of holding the event the Broxtowe Partnership adopted an oak tree in Sherwood Forest under a scheme organised by the Sherwood Forest Trust and supporting the work of the Greenwood Community Forest in Broxtowe.

Over 70 organisations make up the Broxtowe Partnership and they all work together to help improve quality of life in Broxtowe Borough. Representatives from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors all come together to share ideas and information and identify actions to meet the needs of the community.
