Perfume stolen in Superdrug raid

18 July, 2007

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at Superdrug in Beeston, during which a large amount of perfume was stolen.

The shop on High Road was broken into between 1730 hours and midnight on Wednesday, July 11.

Various perfumes – from budget ranges to designer brands like CK One- were stolen.

Perfume was stolen during another burglary, which occurred at the shop earlier this month, between 1500 hours and 2200 hours on Sunday, July 1.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: “There is every chance that these perfumes may go on to be sold in places like pubs or at car boot sales.

“We would warn members of the public to think twice before buying in these circumstances, as they are likely to be purchasing stolen goods.”
