Youngsters could get new play equipment

Contractors have already been asked to remove the existing play equipment from the site.
A funding application has also been submitted to the Big Lottery, via the Broxtowe Play Strategy group, and a decision on this is expected next month.
Trowell Parish Council is also waiting for a decision on its planning application for the installation of security fencing and gates around the site, which is expected from Broxtowe Borough Council shortly.
