Free holiday play schemes for youngsters

06 July, 2007

A number of venues in NG9 will be hosting free summer play schemes for youngsters.

Broxtowe Borough Council is funding another programme of play schemes during July and August.

Offering a safe environment for children, as well as creativity, energetic activities and challenges right through the summer holidays the Play schemes are located throughout the Borough.

The only way to enrol children on the play scheme will be using the successful postal registration system which reduces queuing and gives children more time to play as well as enabling more children to attend.

The summer play schemes leaflet and registration forms are now ready so parents and carers are advised to get the forms submitted quickly as there are a limited amount of spaces. Bookings will be on a first come first served basis.

There will be priority allocation to residents living in the Borough. Applications from non-borough residents will only be allocated if there are spaces available after the closing date July 20. Non-borough residents will be charged £25 per week per child to cover costs.

Play schemes will be running in the Borough at the following locations:

Week Commencing July 23 (for 4 days) 10.30am-2.30pm
• Beeston, Round Hill Primary School, Foster Avenue
