Website: www.ridethelobster.comPictured here is Joe Marshall from Beeston on his unicycle.
Two keen cycling enthusiasts are to take part in an unusual challenge.
‘Ride the Lobster’ sees contestants cycle the length of Nova Scotia in Canada, a trip of 800km – around 500miles, in just five days!
However, they will not be riding two wheeled bikes because Joe Marshall from Beeston and Spencer Owen from Bramcote are both unicycling enthusiasts!
The unicycle relay race will take place between 16 and 20 June and in unicycling circles is known as the equivalent of the Tour de France.
Joe, 29 is currently a student at Nottingham University and Spence, 32 works in IT.
