Sainsbury's opens in Stapleford

The Mayor of Broxtowe Borough Council, Cllr. Brian Wombwell performed the opening ceremony last week and welcomed Sainsbury's to the town.
He also thanked the developer Mac Sahota for supplying a very attractive building, which will be an asset to Stapleford.
Mr Wombwell, told NG9: “The other traders in the town welcome the shop and hope that local people will be encouraged to shop in the town instead of visiting out-of-town supermarkets.
“Sainsbury's are also providing jobs for local people, which is an added bonus."
