Tenant Review on Council Property Repairs

The panel has just completed a comprehensive assessment of the repairs service including the charters and performance standards set for the repairs.
Visit
The work included a visit to the Council’s Works department at Kimberley to show those involved how repairs were dealt with from first being reported to the Council to signing them off as a completed job.
A further visit to Ashfield Homes also gave the panel an opportunity to see how a three star landlord performs in its repairs service. A number of improvements have already been implemented as a result of this work including a new satisfaction survey form and the introduction of information leaflets on repair related issues.
Monitor
The panel will continue to monitor the repairs service and ensure it continues to meets the expectations of its tenants and meets the conditions of its charters.
