Event date: Saturday 03, May 2008 at 11:00 until Sunday 04, May 2008 at 18:00There will be added pressure on the father and son team-mates, but title rivals, Mike and Andrew Jordan, in the third round of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship as their team sponsors, the John Guest Group of Companies, have just confirmed that they will be backing the event at Donington Park over the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, May 3 - 4.
The John Guest Trophy Raceday is geared to providing a great sporting family fun day out at the Parkland circuit, with the Lichfield based John Guest Racing equipe looking to make local knowledge count as they take to the Leicestershire circuit with their Honda Integras.
Highly Competitive
The on-track action is expected to be highly competitive with the reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi going into the races with a slender seven points advantage over Mat Jackson with Gordon Shedden a close third.
Around the three British Touring Car races, the track action also features one-make features races for exotic and expensive 180 miles an hour Porsches, Formula Renault single-seaters, the ever exciting Renault Clios, Seat Leons and Ginetts sportscars.
