Updated M1 widening roadworks information

Updated information on the M1 widening roadworks taking taking place between Junction 25 to 28.Junction 25 to Junction 26
• Northbound carriageway reduced to two lanes, overnight 9m to 5am, Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 15.
• Southbound carriageway reduced to one lane, overnight 9pm to 5am, Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 15.
• Southbound hardshoulder closed with cones but available for emergency use on Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17, (for 24 hours).
Junction 26 to Junction 27
• North and southbound narrow lanes with no hard shoulder and a 24-hour 50mph speed limit for the safety of drivers and roadworkers until Autumn 2008.
• Southbound carriageway reduced to two lanes, 10pm to 5am, Monday, July 14.
• Northbound carriageway reduced to a single lane between 9pm and 5am from Tuesday, July 15 and Friday, July 18.
Junction 27 to Junction 28
• Southbound hard shoulder closed with cones but available for emergency use, Monday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 15, (24 hours).
