Updated M1 widening roadwork Information

Updated information from the Highways Agency for the M1 widening works. Monday, June 16 to Sunday, June 22.Junction 25 to Junction 26
* Northbound hard shoulder will be coned off throughout the week but will be available for emergency breakdown.
* Southbound hard shoulder between Junction 26 and the Trowell motorway services coned off throughout the week but will be available for emergency breakdown.
Junction 26 to Junction 27
* Narrow lanes with no hard shoulder and a 24-hour 50mph speed limit for the safety of drivers and roadworkers until Autumn 2008.
* Junction 26 southbound exit slip road closed between 1am and 2am Thursday 19 June. Diversion via Junction 25.
Junction 27 - Junction 28
* North and southbound carriageway reduced to two lanes between 9pm and 5am on Thursday 19 June.
