Police appeal after serious road traffic collision

A white Fiat Punto, which was travelling towards the A6005 Nottingham Road, was in collision with a silver Ford Focus travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Punto suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
